I believe once a volleyball player, always a volleyball player. I was born and raised in Dallas, Fort Worth, with a volleyball in my hand ever since I could hold one. I played volleyball in high school, throughout college, and adult leagues after graduating.

I took some time away from volleyball to go to nursing school. While away I knew my heart was missing playing. I then began coaching while also working in the medical field. After a decade and a half in the medical field I walked away to devote all my time to coaching young athletes to love the game that I fell in love with so many years ago. I’ve been coaching within the region for well over a decade. I’ve had the privilege of developing and coaching many young athletes who have gone on to further their career playing ball in college. It’s been so amazing to me to help kids grow and achieve a level of volleyball that they didn’t even know they could achieve. Being a female, I am able to not only coach these young girls, but help guide them, and help them build a rock solid foundation for their future. So many athletes just need a coach that will believe in them and that is why I left nursing. I believe in every kid that steps onto my court and gives their all. If a coach believes in a kid, the sky is the limit for that athlete.
