My passion is teaching this great sport to the next generation. I want my players to love it as much as I do.  I teach my players to understand  the game as I believe this elevates them to the next level and sets them apart from others. 

I strive for a positive approach and believe we perform best if we feel good about ourselves. Emotional management is a part of the overall game that I focus on and teach my players how to use their thoughts and emotions to achieve their very best.  

I was blessed with a successful playing career and was able to play at the collegiate level on scholarship at Tarleton State University as a middle blocker. 

As a coach, I have coached club volleyball many years.  I have even been an Assistant Club Director previously and understand the club process and truly appreciate the priorities here at Summit. I took a few years off to watch my own daughter compete in her sports. I’m excited to be back and part of this special club. 

I have many players that I coached as players who currently coach and I can’t think of a better compliment….they love the game and understand it enough to teach it to others. Many of my players have played at the collegiate level, achieved All State, All District and even some National recognition. 

I truly believe in a positive environment with an emphasis on a high work ethic and coach-ability. Competition breeds excellence.
